“Singapore’s so boring…there’s nothing to do!”
Oftentimes, we hear our friends and even ourselves say that. Well, before you even get to that statement, we narrowed down a list of various activities we could do around our little red dot.
From mild to high, we rated these activities according to its adrenaline factor so there’s definitely something for everyone! Join us in our adventure NOW:
Mild: For the faint-hearted
Get creative as you pick up new skills at Naiise’s workshops, they offer classes like Brush Lettering, Calligraphy and even building your own Terrarium! You can even gift your loved ones with your very own creation. That’s indeed a thoughtful gift! 🙂

Yes we know we know Singapore is about food, food and more food so we can’t possibly miss this out! Here’s an adventure for your tummy! Savour hawker delights and go on a foodie hunt, especially with so many cafés sprouting out, it’s impossible to visit them all in one day. How about checking out @shiberty’s new café , Shiberty Bakes (how apt!), this weekend for some waffles and Shiberty toast! 😛
Address: Shiberty Bakes, 46 Owen Road
Open from 12pm to 10pm, closed on Mondays.
For the romantics, catch “Romeo & Juliet” under the stars at Fort Canning Park happening end April! This year’s installation of Shakespeare in the park is all about the classic love story. BYOP (Bring your own picnic mat) and have a feast with your other half while being enchanted by the passionate performance by Singapore Repertory Theatre. Get your tickets here!
Moderate: For the regular people like you & I
Put on your trekking shoes and take a hike up Faber Peak! The Mountain of Happiness has a happy trail for the complete trekking experience. The stunning view you get at the end makes it worth the climb and hard work! Still feeling pumped up after reaching the 100m tall peak? Then continue your trek across Henderson Waves!
Channel your inner Deadpool (except the gore of course!) and have a game of laser tag with your friends! Watch our Alphas in action as they got fired up during the #churpsgxgwarfare event!
Buddy up and spend some time under the sun stand up paddling! Depending on the wave, this sport can be pretty calming and it surprisingly trains your entire body. Achieve that glowy tan you always wanted and sweat it out on an afternoon of fun!
High: For the risk-takers
Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be a hamster? Try Zorbing! Very much like a hamster ball, hang on tight while you roll yourself around in a giant inflatable ball and depending on the kind of activity, you could either be moving down a hill or across waters! It’s super thrilling and you’re sure to burst into fits of laughter ;D
In Sunny Singapore, there are plenty of activities that our weather doesn’t permit. But instead of waiting for the winter season overseas, escape the heat and try out Singapore’s very own Urban Ski! From snowboarding to skiing, train your skills and impress your loved ones! Wouldn’t it make a great date idea too? 😉
Want to get an even greater adrenaline rush? Let Sentosa’s Mega Adventure unleash the “Tarzan” in you! Conquer obstacle courses while being 5 to 15 metres up the air, scale the high walls and zipline across the island to celebrate your achievement! Challenge your friends and test your limits too!
Here are some of our brave Netccentrics that were all up for an adrenaline-charged day at Mega Adventure Park!
Guess Singapore’s not that “boring” after all but hmm…still not impressed by this line up of adventures?
How about flying straight to Davao where fellow @nuffnangsg recently went on a #bloggeratitraventure! They conquered their fear of heights and had a splashing good time (think giant slide leading to the sea!). From mild to high-intensity activities, they’ve got an adventure fit for everyone! Let @nuffnangsg take you through their time spent in Davao!
Have a good weekend, Churpers! Go forth and embark on your own adventure! 🙂
