Hello fellow Churpers,
Don’t you feel time is passing way too fast? It’s April already! As we embark on the second quarter of the year, let’s recap some highlights from the past 3 months.
The Netccentric group was off to a busy start as the Management teams from 7 offices (Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Philippines, Thailand, United Kingdom and China) gathered at the land of smiles for the annual regional meet up. Lots of excitement to come in 2015!
2. Company Retreat in…
After a year of hard work, the teams from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and China were flown to Bali for the company’s annual retreat. That’s 4 days’ worth of fun, sun, sand and sea! Most importantly, new friendships were made and everyone felt recharged and ready for the year ahead!
3. 8 Days Eat’s Party Time
In continuation with our collaboration with 8 DAYS Eat, our Alphas attended the 8 DAYS Eat’s Party Time. Held at Kuvo with over 100 guests present at the event, they were in for an evening of mini Q&As, great food, and even became a mixology for the night!
4. ChurpChurp is now on Dayre!
Follow our official Dayre account for a peek into life at the Netccentric office, behind-the-scenes at events, features on Alphas and more random musings!
5. Alpha Updates:
Congratulations Joanne-Marie Sim on the arrival of your bundle of joy! Isn’t Baby Elizabeth just so lovely!
Welcome home, Nat Ho! After a successful career reboot in Taiwan, he is back in Singapore and is currently embarking on a project with MediaCorp.
6. Nuffnang turned 8!
That’s right! Our dear Nuffnang is 8! This year’s birthday bash was held at Da Paolo Bistro where the entire place was elegantly adorned with white, gold and silver decor. It was an intimate luncheon with bloggers and staff, accompanied with awesome live music and mini fringe activities that kept everyone entertained. Truly proud of how far Nuffnang has come! Together, let’s aim for infinity!
7. Farewell, Mr Lee.
Ending this quarterly recap with a farewell to our founding father. Together as one Netccentric family, we paid our respects to the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew. It was indeed a sad week for the nation. We would like to thank you for all the sacrifices you made in building this place we call home. #ThankYouLKY
