#FeatureFriday: Soh Peishi – Young, Petite and Daring
Ever wondered what it’s like to be under the limelight at the age of 18? Having to juggle your time between schoolwork, friends, family PLUS blogging and attending events at the same time?
Well this #FeatureFriday, we’ll let you have a peek into the life of our youngest Alpha, Soh Peishi!
Peishi started tweeting a few years back, and has since gotten a whopping 23,000 followers stalking her every move and thought online. This petite cutesy tweets/instagram/blogs about random musings that interests her; from clothes to make up to, well, the haze.
Lately – as if being a daughter, sister, student, blogger and an Alpha isn’t keeping Peishi occupied enough – she started her own online store whereby she handles everything from managing enquiries to modelling the clothes, all on her own! Peishi may look petite and small on the outside, but she’s definitely got a personality that’s larger than life! We’re sure she’s a great inspiration to many looking at how she chased her dreams and is always up for any challenges along the way which is why we asked her 10 questions that some of you (or well, at least us) might want to know.
Read on to find out what she’s got to say!
1. We understand that you’ve always had a dream to start your own clothing line. So how does it feel for you now that you’ve managed to launch your own online store? Tell us more about it!
Yes! I really wanted to start up my own clothing line because I’m very petite and it’s so difficult to find clothes of my size and style out there. It will be great if I can manufacture my own designs and also come up with different sizes, providing people with a petite frame pretty clothes too! I thought managing my own online store will not be that difficult at first, but I proved myself wrong after the launch!!! Having to deal with everything myself is so stressful and tough, it’s no wonder people don’t manage their online store all by themselves nowadays. However, it is definitely satisfying after seeing the results, and also a very good experience. I’ve picked up a lot of new skills along the way, like creating the webstore template!
2. Was it fun modelling for your own store?
To be honest, not really! Hahaha! I have to do quite a lot of things already so modelling for my own store adds on to the work load! I don’t do modelling so I’ve never really go for professional shoots similar to this unless necessary, so this is a fresh new experience for me as well!
3. What’s it like having to handle school and your blog/ Twitter/ Facebook/ Instagram/ online store at the same time?
SO MANY THINGS TO DO, YET SO LITTLE TIME!!! Hahaha that’s how it’s like! I like to keep myself occupied and busy so this is good, in a way or two. But when things clash together, I get very annoyed!
Times like this makes me think about what I really want to focus on, and what I should prioritise….and that’s something I have yet found the answer to. xD
4. How does it feel to be an Alpha? To have so many followers reading your tweets!
It feels good to know there are people out there who appreciate me and find my life or what I tweet interesting! They keep me motivated to do something I like, so I’m very happy!
Nay part is that since there are so many pairs of eyes reading, I got to be extra careful with what I tweet haha, and that includes slight grammar errors because GRAMMAR NAZIS ARE EVERYWHERE!
5. Whose tweets do you enjoy reading the most?
MY TWEETS! HAHA I just read everyone’s tweets on my timeline, don’t have a favourite one!
6. What made you decide to start an account on Twitter?
The trend HAHAHA. All my friends have a twitter account so I started one too! Little did I know it will turn out to be something so huge and important to all of us. xD
7. Who is your favourite Youtuber?
Bubzbeauty! She’s the most humble Youtuber EVER, and her videos are mostly very inspiring!
8. Enough about social media. Let’s see… Where do you see yourself 5 years down the road?
Nothing much, maybe just strutting down the red carpet receiving my Oscar award…….? HAHAHA just kidding!!! People like to ask me this question but I really have no idea. I think it’s important to plan what we should do and know what we really want in the near future but now I’m just living life as it is because I can’t take stress and I rather just wait and see where I will go.
9. What do you usually do in your free time? (Other than dealing with social media!)
I watch Running Man! A LOT A LOT A LOT. I think everyone should watch Running Man! They are like happy pills for me, so every time when I’m down, I’ll watch Running Man and laugh.
10. Name us your favourite place (be it a country, state, town, city etc)!
I sound boring but…..MY HOUSE. It’s the place where I can put my legs on the table, wear sloppy clothes without getting judged and SLEEP comfortably.
There’s so much more about her that we’ve yet to find out in these 10 questions! We all know that she’s active on social media (she told us that she can’t live a day without browsing through her twitter!), so if you’d like to find out more, don’t hesitate to drop by her blog, Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. Psssst, she even has ask.fm!
Have a good Friday y’all!
